To keep a close eye on your kids playing outside or out of your sight try using a wireless video recorder. Some require a power supply but there are others that run on a battery pack that can last up to 6 hours. There are 11 steps in the instruction manual and it's best to follow those step by step, but make sure all of the receivers are pointed in the same direction to get a clear picture.

once you install one it becomes very addictive. the interference can be fixed by moving the receiver around. I am up to 5 cameras, they are very useful.
