Walk around video of my 1999 Chevrolet 2500.

I enjoy videos where people actually talk about their cars so I decided to make one too.

Its pretty much stock besides the swiss cheesed air box with K and N filter and 5 inch stack.

I mention the DVD player. In order to be able to view movies while driving simply ground the parking brake wire. I've been told its harder to bypass this in more expensive players.

***I dont think my truck is the greatest truck ever made.

I'm making this video for 6.5 fans, openminded diesel enthusiasts and car enthusiasts who like watching everything cars.

I know cummins diesels are the the best. I'm a GM fan and wanted an inexpensive Diesel truck that got 20 mpg so I picked this.

Again I know Cummins are great engines. PowerStrokes and Dmax's are awesome too =)***

  • thats a sweet radio ,but did you put any extras in the motor?

  • @pdxe22

I "Swiss cheesed" the air box, removed the turbo silencer, gutted the cat and added a K&N Filter. Thats it nothing major.

  • thats a really clean old truck the stact needs to be about a foot shorter an it would be perfect

  • @hooksmason

I wanted to be different. A lot of people who put stacks on their trucks cut it roof height. People either love or hate how tall the stack is on this thing =P

  • ur truck is awesome

  • @alexgonick

Thanks for the kind words man.

  • Beautiful truck! Very clean. Really like the wheels. Im a bigger fan of a short single stack in the bed of trucks (just my opinion) but it still looks good, and sounds awesome!

  • Anything done to it other then that stack?

  • good work truck!

  • I miss you posting videos man!

  • Yeah, Thats a nice old truck there, but Im not a fan of the stack. I think its too tall for one, but I prefer a curb dump with a 6 or 8 inch tip. You get much better sound with the longer open pipes. Ill post a video response so You can hear what that setup sounds like. It IS a NICE Clean old truck though dude.

  • I have that same Camera LOL Great Camera And then my neighbor has that exact same stereo HAHAHA What a Coincidence LOL

  • i like it, but the stacks a little tall for me. nice truck though

  • @Gameconsoleman remebmer tho, thats not a chevy motor, its a detroit diesel

  • take her in to redline wimp you need to let a chevy run;)
