Recorder Lesson #5 - high E, low F sharp

Two new notes: F# (the # sign means SHARP,so that's F-sharp) and low E (first line treble clef staff).
A review of notes G,A,B,C and D.

You *can* play high E without the thumb hole (in fact, I taught it that way to my general music class last year that way). It's actually slightly more in tune that way. But high F and high G need the hole to be half-covered, so it's easier to just play the E with the thumb hole half covered as well.

In the beginning it can be but once you got it under your fingers you can master most any high notes!
