Well, I'm not quite sure how it works if you GPA is low. My advise is to go and talk with someone in school and find the real deal with that.

I thought they put you on "probation", something like if your GPA is close then they might let you in, my GPA is low right now and reason being is, I had to go out of country couple of times.

It does, but you need to make sure you choose they right degree in Nova, so it can transfer to the four year college. You also need to meet the requirements that each college asks for. One example is certain classes and a minimum GPA. If you don't meet those requirements you are not accepted "AUTOMATICALLY" If you have less than that, you have to apply like any other student and there might be a chance that you could be rejected
