The Voigtlander 50mm F1.1 lens in the Leica M mount has recently come out on the market and Rob from www.bigcameraworkshops.com tested it out at a model shoot in the "Graffiti Alley" of Toronto. The new Bessa III 667 was also tested out at this shoot.

Both are available at bigcameraworkshops.com

  • I didn't find the negatives over exposed but I found the scans a little light. I didn't do my own scans.

  • Excellent testing. Often seeing photographers waste the talent of the model during testing, this is not the case.

  • Great lens, tacky photos.

  • id tap that!

  • @ILMORUZ the shown camera (which is actually not a bessa 3) has it's fastest shutter speed at 1/2000s. In my opinion that would be much too slow to shoot f1.1 at bright daylight, even with a very low iso film.

  • a little over-exposed? too much light to shot with f1.1 !!

  • What is it with hot girls in dirty alleyways? Strange fetish photographers seem to have for that...
