This is a clip of the the US version of Final Fantasy 3 featuring Terra in the Narshe Cave at level 99. No cheats, no emulators, no game genie, just a simple trick with the REAL cart.

When you die you keep your levels, but lose any gold or espers bonuses and return to your last save point. I only save at the first save point, played the game until Terra reached level 99 and died bringing me back to the Narshe Caves with Vicks and Wedge. I cut out the parts that were not needed to get the video in at 10 minutes.

  • Isn't it nice that your hard work to bring us a great video is being accused by paranoid Youtube users of being fake?

    Oh well.

I didn't know that your levels were retained when you die. It's kinda cool. :P

I think I'll try something like this next time I'm playing.

  • and yeah, seems like vg history isn't so popular among gamers these days...ah, the days of tonics and atma weapons...
