@yudomax AH OK first I'd like to say: thnx for reminding me about Unity3D!! ^.^ I just went to check the link for you and found out that Unity3D 3.0 was just released, so yeah for me I have new stuff to play with!
And to answer your question: check out Unity3D(o)com. It's free to download and if you know Java (easy if you already know AS3) or C++ you're GTG. =D
And (I know you didn't ask, but) if you want to do 3D in AS3 I'd go with Papervision or Away 3D.

@Truthiness231 hey that 3D thing you talk about is to create animations like in flash but in 3D and with al that wireframe or something like that (like creating your own characters or something???)

AS3 far exceeds AS2. Both languages are incredibly easy, so I don't see much need to differentiate there. AS3 however has not only much more function, but the VM it runs on is about 10X faster (essentially, the greatest thing imaginable in AS2 can be done in AS3 a be 10 times better + extra features (ComputeSpectrum() anyone? ^>^)).
And to those who want a painfully easy development environment, go with something like Unity3D (free btw and it allows for 3D web stuff that runs fast) or Torque =P
make it run on safari!!!
