Hi! A little about me. Its in ASL (American Sign Language), so you hearing folks won't hear anything. I'm not actually Deaf. I'm an ASL student. For my ASL 5-6 credit, I'm a teachers assistant in the ASL 1-2 class. I wanted sooooooooooo badly to be in a ASL 5-6 class, but there wasn't enough students in my small privet school, who wanted to go into an ASL 5-6. Now, if I want to learn any more in ASL I'll have to do it on my own! At least I only have one more year in High School. Then I can go and learn ASL in collage.

  • Why did you name your cat casper?

  • I named her Casper, because the night my parents gave her to me, we were watching Casper The Friendly Ghost, and shes a white cat :)

  • ASL is more then just moving your hands. Your expressions, EYES, and lips, are also important. why do you keep rolling your eyes around? when signing you dont just watch hands you wactch the face and eyes too.

  • Yah, I really need to work on my ASL skills! Thanks for the input! It really helps :)

  • The chewing gum is very annoying. I'm an ASL teacher with a degree from GallaudetU niversity. I have to say that I wouldn't put you as and ASL 5 student. You would be placed in my ASL 2 class (intermediate) due to you having too many pauses and your sentences are too simple for an advance class. Socialize more with Deaf so you can improve on your production.

  • The chewing gum thing should stop. :\

  • It's incredibly rude to chew gum whilst signing. That is all I could see. It takes away from the language. =o/

  • I learned ASL in college when i was 13-16 and I moved here to Thailand where I learned TSL.....the same thing about both is you NEED facial expression. I sign with my friends every day and it can be difficult if you dont show expression or if you sign with many pauses.

  • she is not deaf obisivously hearing person lol. she was good asl not real level of deaf. i agreed level of 2 not 5-6.
