@failuresconquest until last year i was on a big metallica, and thrash metal hike, but i went to see my first metal band live, and they got me back into the genre. funny thing is, they're name is Through the eyes of the dead, and they're current bassist, Jake Ososkie, used to be in Arsis.

Pantera does not suck balls. You probably listen to Disturbed lol

correction: these guys deserve to be on a stage.

hahaha no worries...
actually, i read it on blabbermouth. speaking of which, i just read an update that said the new album (Starve For The Devil) has been pushed back to February 9, 2010...
probably has something to do with the recently announced North American tour they're doing with Arch Enemy / Exodus in January and February next year... can't fucking wait to see them live again!

Well a lot, too much, of Necrophagist is just unison diminished stuff. That also, because its unison, makes it like 10-50 times easier to write. Arsis has more chord structure while using diminished and augmented fifths. It is opinion of what band sounds better but it is more agreeable that Arsis's songs are harder to write. And Im not saying those bands sound like eachother, they have songs that sound too similar
