For my friend Quayler, who is looking for a version of this "con swing!"

Sergei Prokofiev's spinning finale, Precipitato, from his 7th Piano Sonata. Performed with boundless energy by Cyprien Katsaris, as an encore after a concerto performance, at the age of 19.

  • Much much much too fast, this is crazy.... Is this music or a speed competition? I just can't listen to this!

What a messy playing! Amateurish compared to Horowitz, Sokolov or Pollini versions

  • This the greatest version EVER!!!!

  • And I thought that after hearing Pollini and Argerich no Precipitato could surprise me... that coda is simply wild! really breathtaking

  • Incroyable!!!!

  • Unbelievable!!!!!

  • Holy shit.
