I grow my own food, I save my own seed,

to a poor guy first money is seed,

if I ever get wealthy I will buy some silver. but until this

seed. One seed grows an ear of corn, one ear of corn has

600 seeds on it, not bad interest in 4 months of growing season.

There is also the argument though, that silver and oil are both commodities that are being consumed fast, as silver gets discarded in landfill in consumer goods when it is uneconomic to recycle it due to the high cost of its extraction relative to the amount of silver in the the product being discarded, of course some is. Oil is similarly consumed, never to have it back again, where as most gold, palladium and platinum are recycled even when their only in small concentrations
