filmed january 2, 2007:

the observatron at the disneyland resort in anahiem, california. it was intorduced in 1998. its spining and making music in tomorrowland. the disney people created this thing as a mechanism observing and watching over tomorrowland.

early concept ideas for the observatron included the feature of smoke and fog effect with a laser and light show. it was supposed to be like an auotmated decoration or mini attraction instead of just some sorta of futuristic decor to help with the futuristic look of tomorrowland which most of the general public believes.

  • i can't believe how the 98 "new tomorrowland" was a complete waste. The the rocket jets were much more fun in this higher location. Now the observatron is dead just like the other crap they brought like rocket rods, cosmic waves, the american space exhibit. They need to redo the whole thing again. At least now when they close star tours this year hopefully they'll go in the right track.Nice music though.

  • love it when it does that

  • Ya. My whole family went to Paris and we rode Space Mountain there. I was the only one in my family to remember that the music was from that.

  • Its the original music of Space Mountain: De la Terre a Lune at Disneyland Paris.

  • i agree Vidude12

  • I miss the Observatron. Disney needs to fix it because to me its the crown jewel of Tomorrowland next to Space Mountain.
