Before we begin, I would like to thank the Lord Jesus Christ for my life, and all the gifts which I've been given in it, including the ability to make this extension. Your name be glorified, my Savior, even in something as small as this. Amen.

Arr, batten down the hatches and hoist the mizzenmast! Amateur Extension Theater 2000 be settin' sail upon the sea o' stars; at the helm now be the Dream Chasin' Cap'n Alkahest hisself, so look lively, mateys! Haaa-haaa-harrrr.

Yeah, I don't think I'll ever get tired of pirate talk. Movin' on! Released in 1997 by Sony, Contrail and Media Vision, the original Wild Arms would not only be the beginning of a moderately successful little gaming franchise. Criminally, less than a third of Michiko Naruke's compositions were made available on a single OST disc. It wasn't until 2006 that this was remedied with a complete OST release... but a few of the tracks from that initial disc were so awesome that they helped compensate for this fact.

'To the Sea of Stars' brings new meaning to the term 'elevator music' as it is played towards the end of the game, when Rudy and Co. travel to one of Filgaia's two moons via a dimensional transport elevator. The path takes them up through the planet's atmosphere, affording them a breathtaking view of the world they've fought so hard to protect, as well as a glimpse of the universe itself, in all its resplendent, starlight glory.

.... of course, the actual cinematic used for said trip is surprisingly brief, all but guaranteeing you'll never hear this track in its entirety while playing the game. What's up with that? The ACF remade version of this theme is shorter still, losing much of the original beauty since the elevator cinematic is still short as ever. Aren't ye glad we've got music extendin' on arrr side, me hearties?

Heh. Maybe I should call this Amat-arrr Extension Yadda instead. Well, see you all next time, fellow Dreamchasers!
