Watch/Listen in HD! Much better sound quality.
A while back, I half-jokingly coined a genre called "Stadium Lo-Fi". Only half joking because, while it is contradictory in nature, I still think it's useful to describe the sound I have been striving to build over the last few years. This new EP, Evaders, is probably the best example of that sound to date. Simultaneously big and in your face whilst also being spacey, intimate, and raw. Big in scope bull small in execution, perhaps.
Here is the first song from the Evaders EP, it's called "Your Wife, Your Kids, Your Family, Your Friends". Cory Harvard is on drums.
Here are the lyrics:
You've been here before
But never too long to lose control of what you came here to get done
I respect the way you carry yourself
You've been so good to your shelf
One day I will live in confident mayhem
Un-despised by those with irrelevant feelings
I know you're taking your time
I know you're out of your mind
I am sorry you've been bought
I'll take over your vacant spot
Sorry sorry, conduit
I know you're a conduit
i agree alex. also i noticed when you started out dan. you did alot of heavy breathing. while you sang. not saying its a bad thing just something i noticed :P

your singing style has changed over the years, parts of this song have a bit of a Jack White tinge to them. great song. keep up the good work.
