World of Warcraft: Cataclysm is the third expansion set for the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) World of Warcraft, following Wrath of the Lich King. It was announced at BlizzCon 2009 on August 21, 2009, though details leaked earlier. It adds a substantial amount of content to the game world, including two new races (Goblins for the Horde, Worgen for the Alliance), new race/class combinations, entirely redesigned zones, flying mounts in Azeroth and guild leveling and achievements. It also raises the level cap to 85.

Goblins are diminutive, green-skinned humanoids. Goblins were a supporting race in the Horde during the timeframe of Warcraft II; in Warcraft III and World of Warcraft, Goblins are a neutral, mercantile race based in the underground city of Undermine.

Goblin Engineers are best known for their affinity for explosives, their signature explosives being the Goblin Sapper Charges, a portable explosive which upon detonation deals devastating damage to anyone in its wake. Rocket launchers, various experimental explosives, and dangerous "Dimensional Rippers" make up most their arsenal of flimsy, yet devastating equipment.
Goblins were announced as the Horde's new playable race for the third expansion pack, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.

The worgen are a race of cursed, wolf-like beasts that transform from humans into feral creatures. They roam Silverpine Forest and were unleashed by the archmage Arugal to battle the Scourge. Worgen who still serve Arugal can be found in Shadowfang Keep. The worgen curse spread through the secluded fabled city of Gilneas, whose citizens still cling to the last fragments of their humanity in the hope for a cure.
Worgen were announced as the Alliance's new playable race for the third expansion pack, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.

I generally like alliance better if nothing more than Blood Elves being energy vampires, and Forsaken planning to Kill EVERYONE, but Goblins are awesome.

the Goblin VS Gnomes thing has been happening for 15 years since Warcraft 2. Goblins should have been a starter Horde race in WoW.
