  • The problem with pricing your item under every one else's on AZ is that a lot of sellers have the repricing software so they come right back and underprice their product after you price yours then you get into a price war and then you can cut your own profit out if you are not careful! Better to price around the same or a bit more than the lowest!

  • @Starchildhealer Thats an interesting point, I didn't know there was repricing software running. The problem with "commodity" items like books or CD's is that everyone can only compete with each other based on price. So the low man usually wins. -Vince

  • Vince have you had any negative issues shipping internationally using eBay or Amazon?

  • @fundxthexmental There have been some issues, but it is still very worthwhile to ship internationally. The biggest issue we have has is using 1st class mail internationally. There is no delivery confirmation available, so if the buyer claims they didn't get something, you will lose an eBay buyer protection case every time. Also the items over $250 require a signature which is difficult to get without using Fedex/DHL or UPS.

  • I got a nice new USB scanner off eBay, paid $18 for it retail is a lot higher.

The auction ended late at night so I didn't get sniped.

  • @wstoner Nice score, let us know how it works!
