I just got one of these and I absolutely love it, but I am having trouble with the gems getting stuck in the tip of the tool, and I know I'm using the right tip, can you give me any hints on how to keep it from getting stuck or how to get it out?

are the crystals real?

@honeyhued08 flatback is used for jewelry and such...as far as I know (I've never done it before) hotfix is for clothing/material only. If you're looking to do it to jewelry and such, use a really good bonding glue such as E6000, this works the best and gives you some time before it sets in to move the crystal around a little. Hope this helps (I don't know when you made this post since youtube has changed).

can you do this to make jewelry like bracelets and do they need to flatback or hot fix? Please and thank you.

Thanks for the video, I got the chance to use this tool the other day at your Craft Fest in Portland. It was AWESOME! I know everyone at our store (Whimzee's Scrapbook Studio) in Beaverton won't be able to wait for them to arrive after seeing this video! We put the cyrstals on the pink Carolyn Gavin bags, BEAUTIFUL! And SO easy to use!
so no glue required? i'd followed the instructions on the box and it still doesn't "glued" onto the fabric...

Please verify on the package that these are Hot fix Flatback Crystals not Flatback crystals. They look exactly the same. Flatbacked crystals need glue to hold in place. On Hotfix flatbacks you can see the glue on the back of the crystal not just a metal finish. If these are Hotfix Flatbacked crystals, then the tool may not be heated enough. The tool must be really hot. Heat for at least 10 minutes.. Then apply pressure to the crystal for at least 10-15 seconds.
