This is my first experiment with video special FX. Please note I have no prior experience with special FX, and this only took me 20 minutes (5 to film, 15 to do the FX), so it's not the most professional.
Keep your eye on the basketball, ladies and gentleman.
*How it's done*
I set my laptop with its built-in webcam on a table facing the counter. I took a picture with the ball. Then I removed the ball and took another picture, without moving the camera. I then recorded a quick video where I turned the laptop around to face the "destination", and stopped recording. I took a picture there without the ball, put the ball in the shot, and took another picture.
I then used Photoshop and Imageready to create the fading-in and fading-out animations, then used Windows Movie Maker to splice all the clips together.

Why would you make this? I really hope you didn't make any others.
