So you're saying that Islam teaches that God made man in the image and likeness of God? Or that Islam teaches that God took on human form? Or that Islam does not teach that God is totally unknowable and is totally outside of human categories of reason, goodness and love?

Do you disagree that Christianity spread through the old Roman Empire through peaceful means? Do you disagree that Islam spread by the sword through that same now Christian Empire, and to India and Asia and Africa?

Really, does this video portray the large majority of Muslims? People like Queen Noor of Jordan? or Dave Chappelle? Or Chris Rock? or Muhammed Ali? Or Imam Feisal of the Cordoba Initiative? Or the hundreds of millions of them who never appear on the news or in terrorist watch lists?

Christianity teaches that man is made in the image of God, that God is pure reason and love. In Islam, God is not reason or reasonable, and does not love man. Man is subject to a distant God. In Christianity, God has intervened personally and has taken on human form out of love for us.

This is why the ant-slavery movement came out of Christian thought. And why woman have rights in Christian countries. Islam is anti-human and anti-reason at its core.

Where does your knowledge of Islam come from? Careful study of original sources and intimate knowledge of Islamic history? or long-term contact with a successful Muslim Community? Or is it just the same bits and bobs that opinion mongers and extremists feed to the ignorant? My guess is the latter, as Islam was built on the Christian and Jewish faiths and over and over repeats that the message is the same that was brought to all the prophets.

Seriously, I don't see anything funny in this. Even from a film perspective, it's poorly produced. I suppose from the perspective of satirizing the religious bent of the original it might be funny, but that doesn't seem to be the intent. Rather, the intent seems to be simple ridicule, which is rarely humorous. Not to say I'm offended, either, I just think it's really poorly done and I don't get the joke.

Revisionist nonsense. The Islamic invasion of India was one of the bloodiest periods in Indian history. Tens of millions were slaughtered, millions more enslaved.
