1998 3.8L Mustang 0-60 runs

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3035687 2 different 0-60 runs its not the fastest but not the slowest both were from a dead stop, but the first one I thought it was not recording so I did not get a good start but the sec one is the best. I timed it out to be around 9 secs not bad has a complete tune up and only mod is a CAI and the car has almost 150,000 miles (new cluster).

@freezysworld Normally I don't approve messages like this but I had to because you brought up Honda's... Honda's are slow piles of shit fucking need mods or NOS just to keep up with traffic, Plus FWD is for PUSSY'S And on another note I raced Civics and CRX's and won by lengths call my shit slow fuck that homes probably faster then what you drive that is if you even have a car!! @thirdgenguy17 i dont know about you guys but i've personal gotten 6.9 seconds with my 1994 V6 mustang.

simple really ( first off... i got new sport sumer tires on her)

all i did was build up the revs and launch in first gear, whitch (with my gear ratio) was good till about 50mph, powershift into 2nd and ride that past 60.

onboard computer said 6.9 sec .... and im pritty sure a properly driven GT can do 5.5-6 second

@DjJBMIII That seems about right pretty good, I know if I launch mine at 2k RPMS I can get maybe 8.9ish.

@DjJBMIII Yeah cuz I can't believe that, not saying its not possible with mods but I cant see a exhaust knocking off 3 secs 0-60. Maybe if it was a manual and you were shifting at like 5500 RPMS but even then with just a cat back I could see maybe 8.9-9.4 secs.

@thirdgenguy17 i mean i can make a video and i know my speedometer is right and all it has is an aftermarket exhaust but all the engine parts are more or less brand new. i have a vid on my phone ill make an actual 0-60 vid though

@DjJBMIII Not hating but I can not believe that, The GT's do not even run 7 secs stock the V6 Mustangs are only rated at 9.9 secs.

You sure your car is stock and that the speedometer is accurate? When I first got mine it was 7MPH to fast so my 0-60s were around 7.5 but the 0-60 was more like 0-53.
