Not one of those strikes hit the enemy. That is your first problem. You have to get very close to them to hit.

@r1tual Sorry, this was a demonstration video to the Skyrim forums. It's just showing how quickly my health goes down. After changing the difficulty, I noticed that there is a bug if you continually change the difficulty....in this case, Novice was exactly the same as Adept or higher. I'm sure it will be fixed in the update/patch soon though
