I'm from Romania and this comes a bit innovative concept comes easier to understand because of my contact with traditional balkan and oriental music, although from a narrow western point of view, indeed those quarter tones are a bit unorthodox. Still, micro-tonal guitar sounds like an excellent idea for reproduction of that mysterious eastern sound!

It just sounds out of tune :/ The song at 1:33 was beautiful though. The fretless acoustic is fantastic.
