@Drumboy81 - Thank you ! why Tama ? wel . in first place they bild great drums and second ( very important) , Tama hardware ! best and most practical stuf ! beautiful finishes too ! I owned Swingstar, Royalstar , Starclassic maple , but when I play first time Tama bubinga kit , I was blowned away ! full , rich sound wit tons of bottom end , thats realy my perfect sound I was allways looking for ! I like mahogany kits too ( my old Tama Royalstar , great kit ) . GREETZ. from Holland.

@MsMK59 Good for you! :) That's an amazing kit you've got there! But, to keep a constructive debate, the interesting question is why did you choose TAMA Starclassic Elite bubinga and not any of the other top series and brands? Why not birch or maple shells? I'm sure you have your reasons for choosing that particular kit. Would be nice to know...
