@Aggronights And PSS just because you read stuff on IMDB does not mean it's the truth AS I am sure you just relayed info from there to here.because IMDB is the only place that references Roger as the one who had the idea for that scene with her and also falsely claims she went on to become a porn star if you delve further than IMDB into the movie you will see her name and that she actually went on to become a real estate agent & that this was her only attempt with acting

@Aggronights Do you know a single fact about this movie??? how about trying this on for size Directed by Penelope Spheeris
Writing credits Penelope Spheeris The girl in the club who was stripped down was based on an actual event that happened in Lakeland Florida and was Penelope's idea to put that scene in there Roger was part of the production team and he had nothing to do with the writing of the script or scene choices...PS the girl in the scene DID NOT go on to do porn

@thejigzup the real group of kids raided garages in costa mesa, newport beach, huntington beach and fountain valley. Those are the places I know about. They might have done garden grove, santa ana, westminster, etc. as well. They shot movie scenes in costa mesa, huntington beach, newport beach and L.A. that i know about.

@Aggronights I just remember growing up in the 90's everyone was saying 'Fuck SLC Punk, SEE SUBURBIA!" and I saw both and neither could really be taken seriously to me. Both seemed really forced, and punk and cinema just never really mixed well. I feel like the best punk movies were flicks like Repo Man and Falling Down, movies that definatly embodied the attitude but without being obnoxious and too loud to really get through

@TurtlesButtNaked well, yes! No punk should have any kind of prejudice. You´re right. But, this was released in the 80`s (I was 14 in those days! Time flies!) and directed by Roger Corman. The scene of the girl naked at the club was also Corman´s idea. Later on she was a porno star. Many of the things in the movie were misconcepts about punk scene. But, it was a nice film for those days and has inspired many kids! I haven´t seen any serious movie about punk cult. :(
No more punks? Might as well say "no more roses" or "no more sunsets." There will always be punks, even if you are too old to appreciate them.

I am from OC and the T.R. gang was actually written about a real bunch of kids, mostly known throughout the neighborhoods as thieves, who actually did raid garage freezers for food. I know, because I caught them raiding our garage freezer while coming home from a bike ride. After that, people started closing and locking their garage doors instead of leaving them open all the time. My friends and I found the Suburbia Movie crew filming the movie for a few days in and around my neighborhood.
