In Traditional Eagle Claw Kung Fu (Ying Jow) the sophisticated art of Qin Na has been brought to very high level.
The video shows small parts of the
Qin Na Partner-Set
Hop Jin Kuen (Harmonic War).

Qin Na Partner-Set demands high skills
concerning timing, control of techniques...

enjoy!!!

  • @JarredD798HungMan1

    Thanks a lot!!!

It´s a small part of the whole form.

    Qin Na is really a specialty of Eagle Claw;

don´t know something like this from other traditional styles.

  • Great video! Greetings from Ying Jow Pai / New York City!

  • Thanks a lot!

Hop Jin Kuen is really a fascinating set,

a treasure for Chin na Techniques.

New York... Then we are most probably

  • very cool!! Thanks for that.

  • Anyone who says traditional martial arts don't teach grappling should watch this!

  • i love the qin na!!

  • most definitely members of the same family .. I was training with Master Shum this weekend. A few of us are testing for our teaching certification so lots of work to do! Please stop by the school if you are ever in New York. Take care!

  • im not insulting your way of doing things. but the movements seem very choppy like hesitant is it cuz your on a diffrent level then your partner or have not figured out your breathing with movement yet Energy flows more free with the right wind

  • I got into a fight in a night-club a few months ago and if I hadn't taken kung fu for the past year, I might not have done so well. People don't understand that learning kung fu is not for you can try to perform the techniques meticulously in real situations, but for you to train up a fighting sense that will come to you naturally when the moment arises. Also, grappling happens almost immediately after the first few punches are thrown, if both parties are still standing.
