Tribute to Denvers own Blinky The Clown. Blinky had been a staple Tv personality in the Mile High city since the late fifties and his show "Blinkys fun Club" are what childhood Tv memories are made of. The Fun Club is long gone as well as most of the broadcasts but here is my short slide show tribute to the only clown I ever liked!

  • We love you, Blinky!!

    (Russel Scott)

  • Blinky is awesome! I remember him from the early 60's.

  • Of the few TV shows in Wyoming we could pick up from Denver before Cable even in the mid to late 70's. For a kid during the weekdays this was a show we could and wanted to watch! A blend of cartoons and kid sketches that today would be to clean and "too nice" for today's Television standards : ( Glad we had him for our generation! : )

  • I went to see Blinky when I was in second grade for a friends birthday party. I actually was chosen as one of 3 or 4 to come on stage and hula hoop! I had that hula hoop until I graduated high school! He is the BESTEST clown ever to be!!!!

  • We love you, Blinky!

    I loved your show.

  • I watched Blinky, who didn't... back then we had the three broadcast channels, PBS and independent station KWGN. When I got old enough that I didn't watch anymore, my 9 year younger brother loved watching Blinky. So.. a good part of my life was knowing Blinky was there.

You just got an impression aside the fun when young that he was a good man. I think he did so much good for the people of Colorado or in the KWGN viewing area.

Looking good for a man your age. WELLNESS!

  • Im 22 years old and i loved blinky when i was little still do

  • Born and Raised in Denver. Blinky was a huge part of my childhood (I am 47), he was the genuine deal when it came to being a clown. But it may sound a bit dated or corny, but when he told the kids to stay out of those streets or don't play with matches at the end of the show, it just made sense. If there were only more Blinky the clowns in this day and age. :)

  • My brother celebrated his 46th birthday today. He celebrated his 6th birthday on Blinky's Fun Club! This is a great video!

  • I was on Blinky's show in the 80s - good times! thanks for the vid!
