Could he be hiding a criminal background with 1) a name change 2) part of a finger cut off 3) a number tattooed/inked on his arm 4) never speaking about his past. Or, maybe the past was so horrible that he wanted to escape it completely - maybe he HAD to leave 1st wife so got a divorce then when 2nd marriage didn't work out, left and lived rest of his life alone and lonely. So sad he never knew his own flesh & blood son.

I much more prefer to see segments with Karl Malden or Raymond Burr than the horrible new redux version of UM. The stories are ruined with needless zooming in and out and irrelevant sound effects.

I am a 38-year old, and I believe that I will be the next George Marsh.

@gablio77 Jajajajajajaja. I love this program, because with this cases, I discovered my vocation: a scientific researcher.

@gablio77 Consider this, in 1888 (when Marsh born), Czechoslovakia didn't exist, because that region was known as "Bohemia", and was a province of Austrian-Hungarian Empire (disintegrated in 1918). We know about Marsh from 1917, because he worked in Atlanta, but in that year, Austrian-Hungarian Empire still exists. That fact seems the certificate could be false, or a joke created by Marsh himself to hide his past.

@dcanales Well, if he was born in "modern-day" Czechoslovakia (even though it's now the Czech Rep. and Slovakia), then it's not a big deal

@unsolvedfanatic its not that bad. If you were a true fanatic you'd like all the episodes haha

Wow, so he lived to be 94.
They found his brother and nieces not surprising considering the amount of names they had.

@dcanales I understand that Czechoslovakia didn't exist then.
Can you read the birth certificate? I can't. If it says Bohemia, then the host would still say "Czechoslovakia", because most Americans watching this TV show do not know "Bohemia".
I don't think you solved the case : p
