@GlobalHealingCenter I am not denying the fact that we are animals, nor am i denying that it is morally right to kill and eat animal products. You can't build as much muscle on a vegan diet though than you can while eating animal products. More complete amino acids and you know this doc! I don't see anyone trying to compare us to Chimpanzees and Bononos who are closer to us than Gorillas...Comparing us to gorillas is really convenient isn't it.
-
@GlobalHealingCenter Exactly my point, just because some scientist decides to classify us as animals, does not mean we are animals. We are humans, we were created separate to animals and given dominion over them, people have however misused their mandate, God never gave us a commandment to kill to our pleasing, in the beginning we were created vegan, they did not use animal products at all. When sin came into being people began killing animals.

@Avaricious123 We're animals... not minerals nor plants, we abuse animals by using them to test drugs to see how they will affect humans... it makes just as much sense to consider that what works dietarily should at least be considered for us. And Gorillas do lift weights, just not structured barbells and things designed exclusively for the purpose of exercise. Just because they use crude versions like each other and logs, doesn't make it any less a weight.

@Mekelsior Gorillas are Hominids too. That is the problem. We are in the Order Primates, and they are in the Super Family Hominodae and Subfamily Himininae. Yes, they are from a different Tribe (but Chimpanzees are in the same Tribe with us). And don't take offense at this, but cause of your Genus... You're a Homo :)

@Avaricious123 I don`t maybe some people are close to them, like zoo keepers.. but the human race, are for sure not related to them in any way, they are primates we are hominids. Perhaps some scientist that ascribe to a certain phillosophy may believe that we are related, but I do not believe in that idea, so the argument is mute. Anyway, the gorillas serve only as an example against those that claim you will be weak if you eat only vegetables and plants. :)

@TxSonofLiberty That is far from the truth! OK they are our closest cousins, but that doesn't mean humans should be compared to them, or any other animal for that matter!
-
@TxSonofLiberty That is the lamest argument... I already know that we are very close, but that does not mean we are the same as gorillas. Just look at a human and look at a Gorilla. Gorillas do not need to lift weights they are naturally huge, not humans.
-
@Mekelsior Yes we are close to them and in fact we are both African Apes and are ultimately apart of the Great Ape family, but that does not mean that we are GORILLAS!!!
-
@TxSonofLiberty Yepp agreed.. there is no need to resort to meat in any case to maintain any kind of body shape. Plants will in every area be superior in the long run, and that is what counts anyway. =)

@Avaricious123 This makes us closer to Gorillas then any other species save for Chimpanzees, who are in the Genus Pan. If any other species are going to be good examples for genetic characteristics, it is Gorillas and Chimps. They're both our close cousins, and have so much in common with us that is is scary how few our differences are.
I'm vegan, mostly, raw bodybuilder and I love your vid,
BUT largest land mammal is not silverback gorilla,
its elephant. (also herbivore)
however I think you meant the 'strongest' land animal...
Also, technically don't silver back gorillas occasionally eat termites? (Though very rare), which would make them omnivores.
anyway 8 out of 10 largest land animals are herbivores. (Exceptions being Liger and Polar bear)
Great advice other wise!!!
