  • Just waiting for your decision to deem this an engine opponent. He played very well and then all of a sudden couldn't mate you with 4 minutes to spare.

What a painful position to fight one's way out of, even if only by way of the time control.

  • Well it is very early in the morning I played this , so I will not pass such a judgement on this occasion, and also I seem to have a good track record of crushing this opponent so far.

  • @kingscrusher Also see my post mortem comment - there was a clear blunder by White on move 30 - I had bg5 on move 31. Qe6 was a clear tactical blunder.

  • It seems on post mortem analysis that on Move 31, I missed Bg5

  • GM Roman Dzindzichashashvili (try saying that three times really fast :P) about countering the bird's opening; /watch?v=ibR4rnTs640&feature=plcp&context=C3c371e7UDOEgsToPDskIOJg4lc6MbQ7-qbNMS1uf9

  • @Pedobreach This system doesn't look great to me - another GM is simply recommending an early h3 - and after Bxf3 to play Qxf3 and a quick g4 - GM Danielson on the "Polar Bear" videos. Also my club mate Alex has already lost two games with this recently against a similarly rated player on the Black side with the d5 and Bg4 system. It doesn't impress me personally. It gives white the dangerous light squared bishop unchallenged by a counterpart, and it seems h3 and g4 is absolutely logical.

  • I can't believe an engine would play an end game so weakly. I think some people just don't like to play endings, and don't know how to finish a won position.

  • lol what an obvious engine user

  • @thespacialone I think he forgot about the clock and was playing careful ,I've done the same plenty of times ,you get into the zone and everything else is forgotten about

  • guy was so in the zone he forgot about the clock ,opps

  • That was a good example of a painful loss.

  • Always lovely to see 1. f4. Reminds me of Henrik Danielsen and his amazing blitz videos.

Jabuka really had the chance here. Expected him to achieve his first win against you but the guy must have disabled his clock or something.

  • Just to say that for people using to play rapid chess (like I do, but only on the board), the rythm of the last moves seems very strange, it suppose someone playing without any look at the clock, so I think Jabuka27 should play in a bigger window to see the clock... lol.

  • "c5 oh that weakens that square "then u allow bd5 dont get it. seemed to me e4 a move earlier and u are in bad shape

  • i think thats the 3rd or 4th time youve played him and that was his best chance yet,the lag from australia is always bad compared to many other places, but im not sure if it could be so this time.
