Under an overcast sky and intermittent rain showers on a rather cool Saturday, August 1, the crew of Southern Pacific 4-8-4 4449 displayed their locomotive next to Tower B-12 in Franklin Park, Illinois. On hand was long-time caretaker and engineer Doyle McCormack and his boomer fireman Jack Wheelihan. Also present was Milwaukee Road 261 curator Steve Sandburg. The next day, the locomotive pick up the rest of it's train along with Amtrak P42 128, and continued north through Techny Jct. to Milwaukee, Wisconsin on the long return trip to Portland, Oregon

  • What Kind Of Camera Is This ????

  • The camera I use for all of the Trackside HD clips I've posted so far is a JVC HD200u shooting in 720p60 mode. Editing and compressions were done using Final Cut Suite 2 software on a Power Mac G5.
