Guam Chamorro Dance Academy - January 2010

The Guam Visitors Bureau, in extending the unique culture of the Chamorro people, sponsored the Guam Chamorro Dance Academy in Tokyo, Japan. The forty students, who have never been to a Chamorro dance class, were remarkable in their attentive and eager nature to learn about the culture of the Chamorro people. Chamorro dance master Frank Rabon was pleased with the response to the lessons. Two classes were held with over 40 students with more turned away due to lack of studio space.
