New Jersey National Guard -- For New Jersey -- De-federalize NOW!

The Peace and Justice Coalition of New Jersey launched its campaign to de-federalize the NJ National Guard, 3000 of whom are about to be deployed to Iraq. This is part of a national effort to pass legislation in State Legislatures to put the National Guard back under State control, as there is no more legal mandate to send them to Iraq.

This was part of a May 28, 2008 demonstration at the Teaneck, NJ National Guard Armory.

  • Hear hear! I think it's that type of empathy and generous spirit that are really the driving forces of America's greatness.

  • Isn't the term Social Justice liberal speak for getting something for nothing? These political hacks won't be happy until our economy collapses under the weight of entitlements given away to society's parasitic refuse.

  • It's Barry Soetoro's WAR NOW! And yes he has no valid BIRTH CERTIFICATE! So put that in your PEACE PIPE and SMOKE IT!!! LMFAO!!!

  • NoJerseyJoe- MLK is one of my most favorite people just as JFK is another - my reply specifically was in regard to what the Vietnam Veterans hoped to avoid - stomping on those who volunteer to serve

  • Do not dare equate the protests that Dr. MLK and those brave Black Patriots did, back in the day, with anti-american haters. Don't you dare!
