  • How do you like the truck? Any problems? Does it have enough power for towing stuff? Hows the mileage?

  • @HedgehogAirsoft

Love it havent had one better...Only problems some times the chip setup makes my MAF sensor malfunction every 9months or so and have to get replaced but thats quicker than changing the oil..for towing i cant say it compares to anything special vs a diesel but its got over +100hp vs the stock 250hp so it can handle a 8000lb load with ease buuuuut its only a 4spd auto, i prefer manual..running of the stock TRD ecu its gets about 12-15mpg vs 16-19mpg chipped, but its requires 91

  • @l501218 Thanks for the help!

  • @HedgehogAirsoft

no prob thanks for asking - maybe one day we will see the tundra dually on the market to see what it can tow

  • @l501218 I hope, then the big three will have to look out haha Didn't they used to make dually trucks with 4 and 6 cylinders?

  • @HedgehogAirsoft

who toyota or the AM 3>> ? I dont think yota ever came out with a dually yet, as for the AM cant say for sure cause im not that familiar with dually's never had a need for one but i would assume they didnt have any V4 dually's, and if they did have a V6 dually it wouldnt compare to the V8 or above but apparently one of the sales guys i talked to about the tundra dually is that yota doesnt want to compete against its 5.7L with another version since they think the 5.7L is fine

  • @l501218 they had dullies for the Toyota Tacos :) but that was ages ago tholol

  • Toyota used to have a TRD kit for the 4.7, but they found that the kit reduces engine life alot. They egnineered the 5.7 to handel the supercharged, so there is no problems. I wanted a supercharger for my moms Sequoia, but then heard about that.

  • @l501218 Well I believe they had some 4 or 6 cylinder duallys back in the 80s.
