When we decided to go for a boat ride on Jonathan's boat on Memorial Day 2008 of the coast of Hilton Head Island, the dolphins decided to come say hey. There were 4 different dolphins that came within reach of our hands... :)

  • @MaNiMaBaLLa: I sure hope you wouldn't make a wallet out of a shark, considering how many endangered shark species there are =/ "More than 100 shark species are being commercially exploited and some of them in such a drastic way that their long-term survival isn't guaranteed. Three sharks die every second." . But because sharks aren't cute like dolphins, nobody gives a sh*t about them... But you're right on one point: Jboob comment was stupid.

  • I live on Hilton Head!

  • Feeding and attempting to feed wild dolphins is prohibited under the Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972 (MMPA) implementing regulations. The maximum civil penalty for violating the MMPA is $20,000; the maximum criminal fine is $25,000 and/or one year in jail.

  • Feeding wild dolphins is illegal because of scientifically documented harmful effects, including changing dolphins’ natural behavior, jeopardizing their health through ingestion of contaminated or inappropriate food and non-food items, and reducing their wariness of people and boats.

  • Dolphins then become vulnerable to injury or death from entanglement in fishing gear or boat strikes. Feeding wild dolphins may also increase the likelihood that dolphins will take bait and/or catch from recreational and commercial fishing gear. Further, feeding poses a significant safety risk to humans, as there are documented cases of people being bitten, hospitalized, and killed by wild marine mammals when attempting to feed and closely interact with them.

  • Please visit the “Don’t Feed Wild Dolphins” website for more information.

  • @Jboobtime99 You sir, are an asshole.

  • lovely!

  • They are so playful.

  • @Vampiremistress00 I guarentee he doesn't, I've never heard once of someone making a wallet out of a dolphin. And if i'm wrong, that's incredibly sick. Make it out of a shark or something, something that actually does cause harm to human life. Although I rather you not kill a shark Jboob, You're still probably a 10 year old e-thug.

  • @Jboobtime99 YOU ARE SICK!!!!!!!!!! I FUCKIN HATE PEOPLE LLIKE YOU YOU KNOW WHEN YOU DIE YOUR DEFITLLY GOING TO HELL!!!!!!!!!!! FROM FUN THERE JERK!!!
