@Bluestatedad Thanks to the policies of Alberta Darling and her fellow conservatives, the conversation has shifted in school districts across Wisconsin - before they were facing sizeable deficits. Now they are being greated with surpluses as a direct result of the Republican reforms. This will mean smaller class sizes, more teachers, and more resources. Your message was wrong and that is why you lost this race.
Republicans are pulling back on investments the US needs to make to remain
competitive in the world. The Walker budget slashes funding for education at a
time when China is becoming a smarter nation than we are. It's embarrassing that at a time when education is more important than ever, Republicans are withdrawing support. Please vote for Pasch.
This is far more than a single issue election but one that encompasses a wide range of draconian, for-the-wealthy, anti-constituent and working people issues. Those who refuse to look, listen and learn will be doomed to watch Wisconsin's lost honor and integrity continue to spiral unabated "back into the future". Vote Pasch if you remember what Wisconsin once was - and could be again - with transparency, elected officials who abided by their oaths of office, and civil discourse.
Darling and Walker balanced the budget in Wisconsin and eliminated the over 3 billion deficit left by Doyle. Now by contributing to their own pensions and health ins. costs, state employees can avoid lay-offs. Half the nations new jobs in June were created in Wisconsin. Thanks to Alberta things look a whole lot better for us in the Badger state! Who in their right mind would vote against that!
