Scooter, our wood duck, trying out the new pool

We got a new pool for the house in Meridian, MS and took Scooter outside so she could let us know if she approves. She did, and she didn't want to get out.

I bought fertile wood duck eggs from a breeder and hatched her and two others.

She calls all the time, especially when we are in another room and she is looking for us. Yes, she does also fly. We also have two juvenile ducks, one is a girl, not sure if the other is a male just yet.

do you have a hawk net? you should always watch the bird outside just incase a peregrine drops by

We never let her or any other of our pets stay outside without our supervivion. I would never want to see a hawk take my little Scooter.
