  • @thelyniezian True. My statement was to list a few technologies introduced in the 70s. As for being a kid in the 70s, I was referring more to the general freedoms and media which carried over into the early 80s.

  • @chroniclerofthe70s Walkman was first released only in '79 though. And that was only in Japan.

  • @80sguy35 The first half of the 1980s at least in the U.S.A. was good. But the 70s was a better time to be a kid. Speak N Spell, Sony Walkman, hand held video games were introduced in the 70s. Bunch of clueless Brits.

  • The 80s where a great time for kid.

Damn i wish i could go back !!

  • I would love to see the shows in entirety. Thanks so much for taking the trouble to load the snippets. I was 13 in 1970, the same age as my son is today! As I sit viewing the segments on my Mac Intel laptop, while watching satellite TV in my bedroom, there is something to be said for the "good old days". Would I trade? No. But I do miss the connection we shared as a family, the innocence and the hope my generation shared for a better future. Sigh. Ex pat from west London, now living in USA.

  • Thank you so much for uploading the 1980 From America
