He would be american lol..
Nice1 bro, job well done on obscuring the singularity of a black hole.
Anybody watching this, search black holes, and the sinuglarity within them. Learn about the universe around you, rather than fantasising about it.

Quantum computing can be done now but because the particle has a choice it will not work, see Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principal. If the electrons location is controlled by thought, then AI can be done without much hardware. Use a random Americium-241 particle to emit random alpha waves, use a Geiger counter to detect the radiation, connect the Geiger counter up to a KVM switch attached to your computer. Set up a random character generator, let the quanta-thought choose via quantum entanglement.

What is the ape to man? A laughingstock? Or a painful embarrassment? Thus man shall be just that for the overman, a laughingstock, or a painful embarrassment. -Nietzsche
Think about it, what possible use would we be to machines, who are will be better at all things, what purpose would they have to enslave us? Why? What would they get out of the effort that they couldnt more easily just do their selves. Hence machines will enslave us when we enslave ants. The question is-What the hell for?

Any attempts to divine now the motivations of intelligences anticipated to quickly become greater than our own are probably bound to be wholly inaccurate, but I would comment that it may be advisable to consider that by the time so-called A.I. surpasses present human intelligence, advances in the same fields will probably have permitted considerable expansion of human intelligence via neuron augmentation and the like, Ludditic resistance notwithstanding.

As such, the prejudice of 'man versus machine' is, I think, very unlikely to hold long enough to place our propagation in jeopardy.

Indeed, not even those scientists whom disagree vehemently with Kurzweil consider him anything less than a very smart man. It's quite possible to consider someone both extremely intelligent and extremely wrong, as I believe is the case with most of Kurzweil's intellectual opponents.

Though I do, for whatever record, agree with his extrapolations. One really must read his work in writing, though, as he's not a great speaker.

OxygenBurglar you shouldnt post comments you cant defend (spam). Once again I eagerly await your response, with evidence. Am I engaging in a battle of wits with a opponent who has no ammunition?
