  • I have recently rescued a 6 year old Bichon Frise and he is wonderful

  • @lorrainelynas Good job. I'm happy for both of you.

  • I have one and my life has been miserable. She is the worse dog the worse breed you can ever EVER own. I worked and still do with animals never have I seen a terrible little dog like this. My neighbor's little girl can't pet her. She has her mouth open all the time bitting. Horrible nightmare I can't give her away someone might hurt her so I will love and keep her but she is terrible.

  • @diane189444 I'm sorry you are experiencing this, but I'm certain that a good trainer/animal behavior person could help this dog overcome her difficulties. There is no reason both you and the little soul should be in pain, but she can't go find help. You must do it for both of you. Good luck.

  • Can you adopt one for free?

  • @Jaguirre93 Usually not. There is almost always some kind of fee to cover basic expenses of rescue, please vet bills etc.If you find someone directly it could be free and some shelters ask only for a donation.

  • @diane189444 - behavior problems like this are due to OWNER ERROR and are not the fault of the dog and absolutely not a characteristic of the breed. I've never had an issue like this with any of my bichons, they are the sweetest, friendliest, most loving dogs in the world. Don't blame your little puffball for not being properly trained - that's not her fault.

  • @mylittlekia bichons are really smart dogs. i breed bichons. we bred a bichon to a poodle and we called them poochons. i think its a little easier to say. i love bichons and will always have them

  • I trained my bichon to use a litter pan. She is super-smart and loves people. Undoubtedly the best dog I have ever have. LOVES to do tricks. See her video, "Belle the bichon does tricks for cheese" if you want to know how smart this breed is!

  • Wow, adorable.... u sound american. in australia there are like no breeders..
