Im training Capoeira for 7 years nowand i can tel u that not all techniques in Capoeira will work in a real fight, but believe me that there are several that do work. Im talking out of experience! I dont jst train capoeira to use against another Capoeirista i also train on situation against fighter that have experience in other martial arts!

you're technically correct. a lot of the movements cannot be directly used in fights, however, the principles the movements teach the capoeira player valuable trains. These traits include- slyness, attacking the weight-supporting limb, using a strike to lead into a takedown opportunity, etc.

A good excuse. But practically, those movements cannot be done fast enough in real fight.
