    merci d'avançe !

  • @bellgardens53 (cont) ...come back to Sweden!! And she pretended it was raining. Odd people. She could at least have told me by email some problem made it impossible for her son taking me on this ride before I went. Not a word. Strange. I would like too see Bell Gardens though it is not what it used to be. Back in the 50's I think it was a genuine blue collar or lower middle class area. Maybe mosty pale skins lived there. ;O) Now it have detoriated. Anyway, that is what I heard. Rock on!

  • @bellgardens53 (cont) ...who had lived next house to the Cochran family in Bell Gardens, but in the 1970's and alas, the Cochran's were not living there anymore. Anyway, she had a grown up son that still lived in Bell Gardens and as I was going to California in 2009 and she made a promise he could take me for a ride in the neighborhood. Checking places around etc...though the house of the Cochran family is a parking lot now. That the dame suddenly dissapeared, and re-appeared after I had...

  • @BWEE1000 I think I know about that only LP from memory. Of course I have read that book by his nephew Bobby and Susan Van Hecke. A great read. Have you read "Things Do Go Wrong - Eddie, Gene And The UK Tour?" by Spencer Leight. Get it if you are into Eddie boy. Have you visited any of the important Eddie places? Like where he was born, the accident site in UK and where he is buried in CA? I did that tour a couple of years ago. I got an promise from a lady 2 years ago...

  • @bellgardens53 Thanks i've looked at both sites and thier good. You did know that Eddie only made one album and the rest of his songs are from 45s he made, he was planing on doing a second album but he saddly parted.

To know more about the shakespeare of Rock N Roll - Eddie Cochran you should read this book called Three Steps to Heaven The Eddie Cochran story.

  • @BWEE1000 That means it is on no LP but on CD. One might never say never though I have it not on any of my Eddie albums: 13 LP's, 3 double LP's, 8 EP's (Rockstar) and 8 CD's. A riddle is why Eddie's version of "The Third Man Theme" is called "Fourth Man Theme?" (late 1959) Anyone that have a clue? "The Third Man Theme" is from the film-noir "The Third Man" (1949) played by Anton Karas on zither. Best site for sessions is "Remember Eddie Cochran", for photos "Eddie Cochran Photo Gallery"

  • @BWEE1000 My pleasure. Rock on!

  • @bellgardens53 Thanks

  • Two tumbs down - impossible.

  • Eddie = Best!
