I have hired the characters I wanted, namely Caedmon and Glenys, and am ready for the Nest of Eagles battle. I am BR 07 which is the lowest I have done this fight. I have a couple of people in the unions that can cast Hexes which will be very handy for shifting the enemy unions quickly using AoE attacks which is my plan. Once they have gone I will bring Roeas to critical and then concentrate on Castanea. Both of them can use Overdrive but Roeas cannot multi-deadlock like Castanea so I need to shift Castanea first.

i was far less lucky than you. went in with the same BR, came out at BR 9 and only one union remaining. I'm only one BR above you however so i don't see it having a huge impact :\

No, it'll be fine. Just make sure you have Glenys, Caedmon and Emmy in your unions and then go grind at Blackdale. Have fun! :o)

@FF12GM hey bud, been a long time, but, how do you manage to take down the skylo creature for Glenys' mission. i've never been able to pick up Glenys before grinding first cause that little effer always creams me :|

@j800r I use hexers to take out the group of 5 Landworms in one hit. They can cause a huge amount of damage. After that (hopefully) I can get Glenys to deadlock the Spiritlord but if not I only have one union attacking it and all the others pummeling the Mantro. Use as many unions as you can as it's better to have less units in more unions. If the Mantro is gonna take you out with 5 characters in a union then you may as well let the union fall with just 3. Make sure you use the BEST soldiers.

Stop fighting and linking everything you seebecause it raises your BR too much. Pick your battles so that you get more stat raises at the end of eachfight. You can do this by fighting stronger monsters.
