Definitely one of the top rap songs of all time. I was a hip hop DJ from the mid 80's to mid 90's and never understood why WORD OF MOUTH didn't break out like RUN DMC, PUBLIC ENEMY, LL, BEASTIES, UTFO, etc...RUN DMC and SPECIAL ED were even on the same label as well as DANA DANE (PROFILE). They made KING CUT and COAST TO COAST and knocked it out of the park on both. Very talented. If anyone knows what happened to WORD OF MOUTH I would be curious to know. Thanks.
