Not to get this hoax thing going again, but seems to me the astronaut is in the shadow of the lunar lander. Ok. Then as he moves out he is still in the shadow - that's on the surface BUT the sun is now hitting him and NOT the surface. Thus he is bright in the shadow.

Everyone is assuming they know the suns angle and where the light is coming from. How many have been to the moon? Please raise hands.

Seems obvious to me - we landed on the moon. Hear that? That's your bubble bursting. : P

100% BULLSHIT

The film has already been proven to be fake, and you only have to see how well lit the astroNOT is when in deep shadow to realise just how ridiculous the film is.

For fox sake get a grip on reality will ya

Also, the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera (LROC), has already taken picks of most of the descent stages at the landing sites from higher than its final orbit. Hey hoaxers, if you've never met anyone who has been to Antarctica, how can you believe anyone has ever been to Antarctica?

poor argument. the pics you speak of show nothing more than a few odd shapes with tracks linking them. Google Russian moon r.o.v. also dude come on. hoping on a boat and sailing the ocean is a bit different than blasting off our world and safely landing on another.really piss poor comparison.

I'm really so sick of the hoaxers. Don't even want to dignify them with a response. But consider this: neither the Soviet space program, nor currently the Chinese, have ever accused the Apollo manned landings as being a hoax. And who would have more to gain if they could.

actually do better research. the russian kgb did later say they knew it was a hoax but kept quite because they were doing the same thing. using the moon as a means to develop better long range rockets and etc.theres a vid of it in here some where. i know we went to the moon, but i also know nasa is hiding things about it from us, but this was and interesting twist for me to hear as well. i think even Sherlock Holmes would give up on this one, lol.

I believe we landed on the moon, but he is still so bright in that shadow and the rock shadows are going in all different directions, just like the hoaxers constantly are pointing out, so I'm not sure why anyone thinks this would change their minds...

look at the exhaust rays and discoloration under the engine bell.

I am not 100% sure, but I am pretty possitive that they didn't use descent engines very close to the moons surface. They would have made calculations and slowed their descent far enough above the surface so they could gently float down eventually having to use little or no more thrust. They tried to avoid making a crater because they wanted to eliminate as many possible problems as possible, and I guess they succeded.
