i am a eminem fan and to honest with you em is a better freestyler then lupe. 1 because he is a battle rapper. he is used to doing stuff like that but with actual songs and concepts lupe is on another level. i can find 4 good songs on a slimshady cd vs 12 good songs from each of lupes albums. overall em can stand his ground but lupe is more diverse. they have two different styles.

Yes, he said that but he's just being politically correct; cleaning it up before the internet takes that line and runs with it. However, I have to believe that he knows he's better. Shit, he's better than EVERYONE. The greats are past their prime. The new cats aren't remotely close to him. From wide range of content, wordsmith wordplay, and mind boggling metaphors, what he does is unparalleled and I think his best work has yet to come.

Nice vid. Thats Lupe's last concert, he wont tour again until next year. I couldn't make it out tho, did he say about eminem? That he was better than him? The sound is not that good for me. Anyways, Lupe has reached a level that's lyrically above em's, not saying em would be a match but, Lupe is lyrically superior than any other rapper right now. He should be compared to ppl like Canibus, Big L, Pac, Nas, Rakim, Biggie, Jay-z, etc...yup hes that good.
