@Snipekiller500 I've met a lot of US Americans (soldiers) and those who tried to speak in German showed the following typical accents:

- typically American pronunciation of "r", "l" and to some extent "w"

- pronunciation of "ch" as either "k" or "h"

- The German long vowels "e" and "o" are often mispronounced as "ei" and "ou".

But of course it's still a relatively easy to learn language because both German and English (and Dutch) are part of the West Germanic language family.

question to germans what do american accents sound like in german. From some of the germans i've heard their accents are not too noticable. If german is easy for an american to pronounce and be understood i may consider learning it

i would sit here and post a rebultal about Germany but i have to agree that America is too lazy and this is comming from an american. There used to be an attitude here that if you want it then you work for it but now the attitude has changed to let someone else provide it.

@poopaufihremschuh It was about stereotypes. You've heard of the stereptype that Germans are all Nazis, so you felt the need to counter that by saying you'd never call a German person a Nazi. They were asked about what stereotypes there are about Americans and they answered it, because Americans being fat and lazy is a stereotype. That doesn't make it true, nor does it mean that this is their opinion.

swedish and germans are by farrr wayyyy ahead of americans cuz its very trueee they dont shower i dated about 3 to four american women in the past and i would never kiss their mouths when they wake up only to not brush or shower and they walk straight to the corner store with pajamas on ever since those days it was such a turnoff pls dont give whites a bad name cuz you dont practice proper hygiene
