This is the Ching Ping Sword 1st set, one of the three most famous style in Chinese swordsmanship. that passed down by Mater Bin Chen, 程斌. It is taught secretly and not permitted to be shown publicly. I am certified by my master as the next sword master of this style and asked to teach to public, therefore, I would like to share the first set of the ancient art, way older than Taichi or Wu Dang swordsmanship. Chinese sword.

  • Can u make a video of u fighting someone or hitting someone with ur sword plz? :D

  • I will shoot an introduction video of fighting technique soon.

  • People has different way to defend themselves naturally. We use martial art to make their natural defense action refined and more sensitive.

  • Thanks for yr replies. Sorry but I find yr explanation of setting a trap unconvincing. When u withdraw your blade so far back past point of deflection, u will draw it in past the end of the attacking weapon, which means you are opening yourself up for a counter-cut, while also being too far back for yr own quick counter. (Attacker can simply use jiao-stir) It also assumes a linear attack, which granted most are. Overall the form is not bad, just see a few small misconceptions. Best of luck to u.

  • It is hard for me to explain this way. I have people challenge me on this movement. It all depends on how your opponent attacks you and when you use this movement. All the movements are traps depending on how you use them under different situations. We can have different concepts, because different people who learn the same type of swordsmanship will have different of way to use them. I teach swordsmanship because there is no certain way is a correct way.

  • I've handled 100's of Antique Chinese Jian & can say for certain that on every one, much more than the the first 1/4 of the blade was sharp, all except some very late 19th c. JIan which adopted ricasso, came to edge right down to the guard.

  • nice :D

  • I have a spec from my master regarding what our style should be. My brother in sword also talked with 陳天揚 who is the sword maker about our spec. I just know that our style and sword spec is really ancient one. I like to know more about what you know about swords. Maybe we can exchange more informatoin.

  • forgot to mention about pull so far back. it all depends on when you use it. when your body is far back, you are attracting your opponent to attack you, but actually you are inside his territory and waiting for the opponent to come to your sword him/herself.
