Weight 183.6 waist 31.5 I lost 1.4 pounds. The weight loss is slowing down. I am sure that it is because of weight training. I am still getting smaller around the mid section. That is the hardest area to reduce. It is not about age. It is about being active. I used to blame it on age. Now I know if you want to be healthy you have to move. I used to think that the 8 hours I spent on my feet a day at work was enough. If the heart rate does not go up then the metabolism can't burn more. It is funny what you learn with an open mind!!

  • I'm very sure that you can have that body... even after 2 kids. Jillian is a huge rockstar, LOVE her, she's tough but effective. Have you tried any of her supplements yet? I was thinking about trying out her detox cleanse.

  • My one friend tried her detox. She advised me to make sure I was at home for the first couple of days of it. I guess it ripped through her...LOL She wasn't even able to fisinsh. She said it was too hard on her stomach. If you try them, let me know how you make out.

  • You are looking great! Yep, less weights, more reps and alternate working out lower half w/carbio and upper body w/cardio. An hour of cardio is really good! You got me beat! PS, LOVE those jeans, super cute.

  • Thanks for the tips Miki. I appreciate the advice. I am going to start alternating upper then lower this week. I can't wait to see how it goes. I want to look like Jillian on Biggest Looser...LOL No really I love her shape. I hope it is possible after having 2 kids. Thanks for the post!!

  • Ha! That is SO funny, oh, maybe not for her though.... well, if it "cleans you out" though, it could be a good thing.  I think I'll try it.

  • no problem! I do calves 3 x's / week! I have large calves so I've really been trying to tone them up and I do high rep sets....and at least 1 drop set....start with medium weight - do 10...drop the weight a peg, do 10, drop the weight, do 10...until you get to the lightest setting...no rest!! it's torture, but the results are worth it!!
