  • That lady can Go...she is so awesome.

    Clear as a bell.

    She is slim and trimmed.

A Hard Act To Follow - and the crowd was on their feet.

I only wish that I was there to witness this great performance.

Thanks Arethavideos for sharing, you've made my Day!

  • Happy Birthday Aretha. The Queen of Soul turned 68 years old today. She's truly a blessing from the Lord.

    Listen to that voice!

  • @jga665 I don't care what everybody else said, they're wrong too. As far as my ears are concerned, Ray didn't say nothin but ,"sista Aretha"; D is a consonant, so it wouldn't change the pronunciation of the A very much anyway, you heard "Duh", I think his pronunciation of the "Uh" is just a bit terse giving the enunciation a bit of a push normally associated with the precedent of a consonant. It don't matter though, there's far more to the vid than this small matter.

  • @1hes2ranger85 Everybody else heard it too, look at the comments. He clearly said "sister Daretha" in the beginning of the video.

  • @jga665 Naw you need to listen, he says Uh--retha as in Aretha, he pronounces it quite sharply but he does not say Daretha, I heard no D in that. Ray knew Aretha's name and said it many times before this... It does not matter anyway...hear what ya want. LOL.

  • @1hes2ranger85 You may wanna take a 2nd listen.

  • @jga665 He very clearly said Aretha. I'm sure he would not screw up her name given that was his mother's name.

  • Who is Sister Daretha? Wasn't his mother named Aretha too? LOL

  • I LOVE this. Thanks for posting. I wish I was living to experience Aretha in her prime. Thanks again for posting!!!

    Go "sister Doritha" LOL!!!

  • Tears, chills, tingles all up & down my spine and in my belly....yep, that'd be Mr. Ray Charles and Queen Aretha. Mercy!

  • Is it possible to get the lyrics for this Soulful song?????

  • oh my gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooddddddddddddddddddd i m dead,i see the lights.....yess
