Case Trimming

New .308 brass after resizing.

That thing is called a 3-Jaw Chuck, so I guess I should call those three things on it Jaws, but they are so tiny compared to a big chuck on a big machine, I called them teeth in the video -- sorry.

  • Time is money, get a Giraud, you would have done 35 case in the time it took you to do 3.

You are right about that, no doubt at all.

This was just a real cheap set up for me, since I already own good battery powered drills, and I don't trim very often.

I found that using Varget powder for my .308 loads, and careful resizing, seems to prevent case stretching; at least I have carefully measured cases before I loaded them, then after I fired and resized them, and they came up the same length for me. Your results may vary.
